Privacy Policy

WAP AI Tools ("we", "us", "our") is an independent publisher of guides, comparisons and reviews covering AI tools for WhatsApp and business messaging. This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we handle when you visit wapaitools.com, why we handle it, and the choices you have. We are an independent publication and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of WhatsApp, Meta, or any vendor we write about.

Overview

We built this site to be read, not to harvest data. You do not need an account, you are not asked to log in, and we do not run advertising networks that follow you around the web. What little we do collect is aggregate and privacy-friendly, and this policy sets it all out in plain terms.

What we collect

  • Privacy-friendly analytics. We keep aggregate, non-identifying counts of how the site is used — which pages are opened, how visitors arrive, and roughly how long a page holds attention — so we can tell which guides earn their keep and which need work.
  • Approximate region. We may derive a coarse, country or region-level location from a truncated network address to understand where our readers are. We do not store precise location or build a profile of you.
  • No accounts, no forms. There is nothing to sign up for. We do not ask for your name, email, or payment details to read anything here, and we do not collect them silently.

Cookies

We keep cookies to the bare minimum. Where our analytics uses any local storage or cookie-like identifier at all, it is short-lived and non-personal. You can block or clear cookies in your browser and nothing on this site will break — every guide, review and comparison remains fully readable.

Third-party analytics

We rely on a third-party analytics provider to produce the aggregate figures described above. Such a provider processes usage signals on our behalf and may, as a technical necessity, briefly handle a network address to generate a region estimate before discarding or truncating it. We choose tooling designed to minimise data collection, and we do not authorise it to sell your information or use it for cross-site advertising.

How we use it

We use the limited information above only to:

  • understand which topics and tools our readers care about;
  • measure whether a guide is clear, findable and worth expanding;
  • spot and fix broken pages, dead links and technical faults;
  • keep the site secure and available.

We do not sell your data, we do not rent mailing lists, and we do not use what we collect to target you with ads.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may hold rights over any personal data relating to you. Under the EU and UK GDPR these include the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) these include the rights to know what is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and not to be discriminated against for exercising them — and we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. Because we deliberately hold so little, there is usually nothing tied to your identity for us to retrieve, but you are welcome to exercise any of these rights by emailing [email protected] and we will respond in good faith.

Retention

We keep analytics only in aggregate and only for as long as it stays useful for the purposes above, after which it is discarded or held in a form that cannot be traced back to any individual. We do not maintain per-visitor records.

International visitors

We publish from one location and are read worldwide. If you visit from outside the country where this site is hosted, be aware that the limited technical data described here may be processed in a jurisdiction whose data-protection laws differ from your own. By using the site you understand this may occur; we still apply the safeguards set out in this policy wherever your data is handled.

Children

This site is written for professionals and businesses evaluating messaging software. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

As the site and the tools it covers evolve, we may revise this policy. When we do, we will update the review date below. Material changes take effect when posted, so it is worth glancing back here from time to time.
